Stephanie Hollenberg, soprano

 This past summer Stephanie Hollenberg performed the role of Gretel (Hansel & Gretel) at the Music Academy International Trentino Festival in Italy.  Last season she covered the role of Zerlina (Don Giovanni) with NEMPAC, Leonora (The Beautiful Bridegroom) with MetroWest Opera, the step-sister Marguelonne (Cendrillon) with Cambridge Chamber Ensemble, and Holly (Rapture) in Boston Opera Collaborative’s annual “Opera Bites.” In Summer of 2017, she performed Papagena (Die Zauberflöte) with MAI in addition to covering the role of Zerlina (Don Giovanni); with the Haymarket Summer Opera Course, Stephanie performed the role of Tibrino in Cesti’s Orontea.

Previously, Stephanie has also appeared in Hansel & Gretel (Sandman), An Embarrassing Position (Eva), and Dido & Aeneas (Dido), also making chorus appearances in Boston Opera Collaborative's Our Town and Idomeneo, and Boston Camerata's The Night's Tale and Daniel: A Medieval Masterpiece Revisited.  She has sung under the direction David Gately, Anne Azéma, Greg Smucker, Ophelia Wolf, and with conductors Christopher Larkin and Neil Goren.  Stephanie earned her MM from the Longy School of Music, and is a student of Jeanne-Michèle Charbonnet.
